Canucks 2011-2012 Season

Alright, so lets get right into it.. The Canucks have once again started out with a mediocre October so far, and guess what? Everyone's already talking smack, surprise, surprise! I personally prefer to take a more positive look at whats been going on.. like the fact that even playing as badly as they did last night against the Flyers, they still managed to keep the game pretty close. Of course though, the nasty talk turns to Lu, "he sucks" "trade him!" the usual yawn material, so this is me sticking by our #1 goalie. Last season the canucks finished with a 54-19-9 record, which is INCREDIBLE! Also Lu was up for the Vezina, and him and Schneider took home the Jennings Trophy, we all know what he's capable of, so why do we always rip him apart?? Obviously most of you out there know I'm a HUGE Canucks fan, so when the clock ran out on a 4-0 Stanley Cup Final, tears streamed but so did optimism that we'd be back next year! I can get over a loss in a game, The Bruins were the better team, and from what I could see, wanted the Cup more.. What I won't be able to get over, is what transpired in the heart of our beautiful city. It's such an awful feeling to not only see the city that you love being destroyed, but to also be lumped in with all of those idiots... I am a TRUE Canucks fan, and it hurts my heart that people will now associate the Canucks with riots.. it's really not fair, and I cannot wait until the majority of those buggers get busted. I wish all the good stuff would get ...

Well like everyone else in the hockey loving world, I chose a Vancouver vs Boston final! For me however, it didn't and doesn't matter who we face, I truly BELIEVE that we're going all the way. Can you believe it? 4 wins to go, 12 in the bag... The Canucks have had a story book season, and there's only one ending, and you all know what I'm talking about.... So just for kicks, here we go... Vancouver vs. Boston ---> GO CANUCKS GO!!!

Making it to the third round completely dissolves the fact that I was only 50% on my round 2 picks! Anyone else see the Capitals getting swept?? Wow, that hurts... Alright Canucks fans, we can finally breath again, what a game to take Chicago out eh? I don't know the last time I've been that nervous followed by soo excited!!! I'm pretty happy to say that all my first round predictions were right! Round 2 is going to be a little trickier, but I'll give it a go! Canucks vs. Preds ---> CANUCKS! Wings vs. Sharks ---> Wings Lightning vs. Capitals ---> Capitals Bruins vs. Flyers ---> Bruins (this one I find the hardest to speculate)
