Alice Cooper Stage collapse, Springsteen Dissed by Lennon, Michael Jackson dead

Friday.June 26/09   - Michael Jackson 1958 - 2009


The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, died July 25, 2009 after suffering from cardiac arrest, at the age of 50.  
 
According to reports, paramedics were called to his home around 12:30pm PT.  EMT's say they performed CPR and that Jackson was unresponsive while being rushed to UCLA Medical center.
Born in Gary Indiana on August 29, 1958, he was the seventh out of nine children born to Joe and Katherine Jackson.
 
At the age of eight, Michael started as the lead singer of The Jackson 5, a band started by his father and featuring his brothers.
 
In 1968, The Jackson Five signed with Motown Records and had several top 10 hits, including "ABC" and "I'll Be There."
 
Breaking out as a solo performer in the 1980's, Jackson released what became one of the best selling albums of all time, ...
