Reese
Name:
Technically it'sTheresa BUT when I was 12 there was this boy... I know but a boy started calling me Reese and it just kinda stuck....I now have 2 personalities: ME Reese, and HER Theresa... you can guess which one gets stuck paying the bills and which one has WAY too much fun shopping!! So ya - My name is Reese!
Age:
Celebrating the1st anniversary of my 30th this year
Where I live:
Vancouver
What pays the rent:
What?? Don't you mean who? *winks*
I like:
Classic rock, making fun of less intelligent people, snowboarding, music, vino, this kid who lives down the hall, and the fact that no matter what province I live in - all I have to do is tune my dial to 101!! Yah brownie points!
I don't like:
Vanilla ice, more intelligent people making fun of me, mushrooms (seriously foul little creatures), the sound people make when theyare chewing, it's like nails down a chalk board *shudder*
My best feature:
Feature; a noun
- 1. a prominent orconspicuous part or characteristic: Reese's new job at 101 is a new feature on her. Wait no that doesn't work. When Reese starts at 101 she will host a new Feature show called Reese Rants (to be read aloud in a Peter Griffon You KnowWhat Grinds My Gears mocking voice).
- 2. Something offered as a special attraction: Reese has several added features including (but not limited to) 'they're real and they're fantastic'... green eyes?!!?! HaHa. The charm and wit of a fairy elf chinese philosopher who has mastered the art of Duck Foo (that's a Howard the Duck reference for those of you who can't vote) and a f*#king fantastic sense of humor!
Feed me:
Steak... Not just any old steak though - Porter House T-bone - Med Rare
Drink me:
Currently Red Wine or Vodka (the skinnier bitch otherwise known as vodka water) or a nice cold Beer!
To work up a sweat, I:
Hit the gym, pump some iron, blast the guns, and run a minithon on the mill! Bahahahaha. I swim, not well, but I swim!
My favourite band:
Pink Floyd
My favourite songs:
Wish You Were Here - Although The Stones' Paint It Black is a very close second
First concert:
So, my dad is the coolest person I know and I can't remember who was responsible for buying them (of course he will say he is) but we went to see CSNY together with a bunch of my friends from work. After dinner we all head out to the show, I'm meeting my dad inside at our seats... I get to the ACC (that's the Air Canada Center in Toronto for those of you who are eastern hockey league(ly) challenged). Anyway, I get there and he's NOT THERE. Neil Young takes the stage and my dad is NOT THERE!!!! So I ask the old stoner hippie dude who is sitting in the next seat if he has seen him - he tells me YES my dad was there and left - and I am supposed to ask the chick checking seating tickets where he is!!!! WHA!?!?! So I get up and go the chick and ask her - she tells me YES he was there and left and I am supposed to ask the guard under the hotdog stand - OMG its a bloody scavenger hunt to find my dad and CSNY is now on stage playing Prairie Flower!!!!! OK, so this is actually a really awesome story of one woman's quest to find her daddy in a sea of CSNY fans... Tell ya what, ask me how it ends a bit later when I'm on the air!!
Last concert:
RadioHead... on crutches in the rain... soooo gooood!!!
Best concert:
Tossup between Eagles (third row from the front - center stage - floor level) and CSNY (ask me)
My rock fantasy:
Honestly, to see Pink Floyd LIVE - I have missed them every chance I had almost as if some cosmic force was conspiring against me.
Why I should be the Classic Rock 101 Rock Girl:
I'm kind of an ass and people tell me I'm lucky I'm cute all the time - I figure I'll fit right in *winks*
