JAMIE
Age:
28
Where I live:
Langley
What pays the rent:
Payroll & Benefits Administrator/CardioCore Bootcamp Instructor
I like:
Laughing until it hurts, good friends, dancing my ass off, the first slurpee of summer, cranking my car radio on a sunny day
I don't like:
Fake people, slow drive thrus, fruitcake, Christian Audiger/Ed Hardy clothing, bratty kids
My best feature:
Hmmm, I probably get the most compliments on my red hair and my smile
Feed me:
A big bowl of pasta with the most garlic-y/cream sauce you've got!
Drink me:
Bottle of MGD or Strongbow
To work up a sweat, I:
Play soccer, teach fitness, play Wii tennis. Ha! - It's tougher than it looks.
My favourite bands:
If I HAVE to pick, it would be between Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin
My favourite songs:
Waaaaaaayyyy too many to choose
First concert:
Genesis with my mom when I was 11. I got recognized by so many people on the ferry on the way back to the island as that "little girl who was dancing on her chair all night".... So as you can see, I have many years of experience dancing on top of things.
Last concert:
Janet Jackson
Best concert:
Also very hard to choose, I'm a concert junkie... The most memorable over the past while would have to be The Police, I was in awe at how good they sounded live.
My rock fantasy:
Watch a game of Rockband involving Mick Fleetwood, Neil Peart, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Eric Clapton, Sting & Mick Jagger. They'd have to play nice and take turns obviously. =)
Why I should be the Classic Rock 101 Rock Girl:
Because I've said a few times a week over the past couple of years how much I want Corrie Miller's job! No joke, I've always thought it would be amazing to be in her shoes, so this contest was made for me. I LOVE music and I couldn't imagine life without it. Playing kick ass songs and hanging with cool people is anyone's dream job. I definitely know how to rock and have fun, and would have no problem hanging with the guys; I've been known to say I'm pretty much a guy with boobs lol. Last but not least, I rite and reed perty good. Good luck to all the other ladies!
