The renowned horn-driven funk outfit Tower of Power emerged from the rich San Francisco Bay area music scene of the last ‘60s and ‘70s. Oakland-based band has released nearly two dozen albums since then. They scored their biggest hits with “You’re Still a Young Man,” “Don’t Change Horses (in the Middle of a Stream)” and “What is Hip?”
Led by tenor saxophonist Emilio Castillo, the group is nearly as well-known for its trademark horn section which has appeared on nearly 200 albums by everyone from BB King to Aerosmith.

From Highway 99 North: Exit 39A from the north to Sea Island Way, then right on Great Canadian Way to River Road.
From Highway 99 South: Take Exit 39, travel west along Bridgeport, then turn right onto Great Canadian Way until you come to River Road.
If coming from the airport (West), follow the signs leading to Richmond, then turn left on No 3 Road. Follow until you reach River Road.
From the east, take Highway 91 (Richmond Freeway) to Highway 99 south, follow directions as above.
