JEFF BRIDGES!! That was by far the most important Oscar of the night for me, he deserved that honor more than any other actor in his category by a long shot. He's such a fantastic down to earth man, and his speech didn't disappoint. Here it is for your viewing pleasure....

Today is a day to be proud! My lovely friend Carly Rae Jepsen has been nominated for TWO Juno's, songwriter of the year, and new artist of the year!! Carly got her start on Canadian Idol where she placed third, but has risen to great success with her debut album "Tug of War." Well we did it! 14 gold medals, setting a new world record for the most gold's at one winter Olympics! I have to admit, upon hearing the winter olympics were coming to Vancouver, I wasn't that excited, but that all changed. The patriotism here in Vancouver was unbelievable, unwavering and unforgettable. We will never experience this again in this beautiful city of ours, so cherish every moment and memory. I was EXTREMELY addicted to curling (and yes I've been told multiple times just how "Canadian" that sounds haha) and on Saturday night I got to meet Kevin Martin! It was thrilling, and he was such a lovely man, so gracious and happy!
Yesterday capped off an amazing two weeks, beating the USA to win the gold medal with Luongo in net!! Does it get any better than that??? With no voice left today, I'll whisper "that was one of the best days ...
Canada vs. Russia

Well it's do or die time today, at 4:30pm to be exact. Canada will take on Russia with our very Bobby Lu in net.. I don't know about everyone else out there, but I'm pretty nervous, and even more excited about this game. This is what hockey's all about, serious competition.. and Canada's not going down without a fight.. So get your pipes ready for the "LUUUUUUUUUUU" chant, lets hope Shea Weber can put another shot right threw the net, and Iginla can follow up with another huge game.. TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT!!!!!

Well it has happened... Alexandre Bilodeau has given Canada our first gold medal on Canadian turf!! What an amazing feeling, but staying true to our modest repuation, Alex Bilodeau said immediately after his win was confirmed. ‘’It is too good to be true… the party is just starting for Canada.’’
