The Doobie Brothers

This Friday night, the Doobie Brothers will be gracing The River Rock Show Theatres stage, and then Saturday night at the Red Robinson Show Theatre! Friday night, I'll be there, actually I'm emceeing the show! I'm pretty excietd about this show, because last year, I went down to the Gorge to see The Allman Brothers, Doobie Bros, and the Dead, and we ended up missing the Doobie Brothers, I was pretty bummed, but hey, at least I get a re-do right?? I know the shows are sold out, but you can win your way in on the Bro Jake Show!! All week we'll have tickets, starting at row 5, and ending up at row 1 on Friday!!

Well my Vegas virginity is long gone now.... For my first trip to Las Vegas, I spent 5 days in the 40+ degree weather, and I THINK I did everything you're supposed to do on you first trip!
The first night, all the guys went out for a stag, and all us girls went to see Beatles Love Cirque Du Soleil, and boy oh boy was it amazing... I've been to Cirque shows before, and have been blown away by what I saw, but the cherry on top was all the crazy stunts put to the beautiful music of the Beatles... IF ANYONE has a chance to go see this, I highly reccomend it!
We also did a trip down to Old Vegas, Freemont Street, and that's what really brought it all home for me.. seeing the Golden Nugget, and showgirls, and everything that I thought Vegas should be... I ...

This is overdue... I've been lacking on my blog entries, and this is a must because... Dio was and always will be, the MAN! Dio, 67, passed away on May 16 after losing his battle with cancer. His wife Wendy confirmed this by saying...
"Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever." Love, Wendy

The rumours are true: Willie Nelson has cut his hair. I guess the 77 year old got tired of the headbands and the waist long braids, but I don't blaim him. Although I was a huge fan of his crazy length, I also totally understand the need for change, and at 77, sheesh! He looks happy doesn't he? Keep on Keepin' on man!
