Oscar-winning actress Jodie Foster says her relationship with her mother influenced episode 2 of Black Mirror that she directed for the upcoming fourth season.
Episode 2: Arkangel
Jodie Foster directed this one. “It follows a mother who has a young daughter and faces that perennial question of how do you look after a child in an increasingly technical world; it taps into helicopter parenting…”
Black Mirror is a British science fiction series created by Charlie Brooker. It centres on dark and satirical themes that examine modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies and how we use them and they use us. Episodes are standalone works, usually set in an alternative present or near future.
No dates for the release of season 4 of Black Mirror on Netflix have been confirmed. But it looks likely to start by the end of 2017 or early 2018.
