Hey it’s Scott Alan,
Oasis founder Noel Gallagher broke down in tears at Manchester Arena on Saturday night (September 9th) as he finished up the first concert there since a terror attack in May that killed 22. He was headlining We Are Manchester, a benefit gig held to raise money for survivors and relatives of the victims who died after a nail bomb was detonated after an Ariana Grande concert.
Gallagher performed the Oasis hit “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” a song which quickly became an anthem of defiance and healing following the attack. Speaking to the crowd of 14,000, Gallagher said, “Every time you sing, we win. So sing like you’ve never sang before.”
