What goes around comes around again. The First 80’s invasion happened over 37 years ago and now comes the 2nd wave of 80’s bands playing Vancouver once again. Starting last year with the Cure at Deer Lake Park and then more bands started to come through during the summer and fall of 2016 including: Duran Duran, Pretenders, Stevie Nicks . 2017 started with Sting opening his tour at the Commodore ballroom February 1st.

Midnight Oil June 2nd at Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park. First time for Midnight Oil to play Vancouver in 20 years.
Queen with Adam Lambert july 2nd at the Arena.
Psychedelic Furs July 19 at the Commodore
Bryan Ferry Sunday August 13th at the Orpheum.
Rock Ambleside Park August 18,19,20 in West Vancouver. 11 Canadian bands lined up to celebrate Canada’s 150th, including: Harlequin, Kenny Shields & Streetheart, Platinum Blonde, Helix, Nick Gilder & Sweeney Todd, Honeymoon Suite, Randy Bachman, Prism, Headpins, Glass Tiger and April Wine.
Guns n Roses September 1st at BC Place
5440 play the Commodore October 6 & 7 for Thanksgiving.
Depeche Mode October 25th at the Arena.
Roger Waters “Us & Them” October 28th at the Arena.
