Hi it’s Dean Hill, Lower Lonsdale in North Vancouver is quickly becoming a favorite destination. It’s my neighborhood and I love it. Lots of great restaurants and a huge variety of places to hang out.
Here are two recent openings and one eagerly anticipated opening set for anytime now.
Lift Breakfast Bakery at 1st and Lonsdale has been coming for months and the owner is almost there. Les Dames d’Escoffier Int’l (LDEI) Legacy Award winner Jane Copeland was inspired by her mentorship experience at Chicago’s Goddess and Grocer and Hewn Bread. Jane also did much heavy lifting in the construction of her new business.
Brown’s Social House at 2nd and Lonsdale has recently opened and has been an instant hit since opening day. It’s a cool place to relax, great bar, and a beautiful outdoor area. Of the Brown’s I have tried it’s my favorite. You must try the amazing Biltmore 2.0 pizza. It’s just returned to the menu and I am all in.
Mr. Sushi just around the corner from Lift. There is no shortage of sushi in Lower Lonsdale but this just opened. I found the service very friendly and the food fresh and excellent.
