P.K. Subban has made what Montreal Children’s Hospital is calling “the biggest philanthropic commitment by a sports figure in Canadian history.”
The star Canadiens defenceman and all around good guy will donate $10 MILLION – minimum – to the hospital all according to a press release. And to top it off, he’s made a commitment to be a spokesman for the hospital for 7 years, which falls in the line with the term remaining on his $72-million megadeal.. So it seems fitting that they have named their atrium in honour of P.K. Subban.
