Hi it’s Robin LaRose.
Quick flashback 30 years to july 13, 1985. LIVE AID, a day long marathon benefit concert to raise money and awareness for the dire situation in Ethiopia took place. The series of concerts took place in London at Wembley stadium in front of 70,000 people and JFK stadium in Philadelphia with approximately 100,000 in attendance. (there were also other concerts taking place around the globe at the same time) Highlights included electric performances from Queen, U2, Bowie, Mick Jagger and Tina Turner. An estimated 1.9 billion people watched the show from 150 nations around the planet. I accidentally stumbled onto the concert when few friends dropped into the red robin on west broadway for beers and burgers. We stayed for 6 hours! Where were you?
