Alice Cooper’s new super-group — which features Joe Perry of Aerosmith and Johnny Depp has also recruited none other than Sir Paul McCartney.
Cooper named the project Hollywood Vampires after a group of famous drinking pals from the seventies — including John Lennon, Ringo Starr and Keith Moon.
The “Vampires” got together to record last year and apparently McCartney was there. According to Rolling Stone, McCartney dropped by one of the sessions and performed his song “Come and Get It,” which he gave to Badfinger, who had a hit with it in 1970. McCartney and Cooper share lead vocals on the song.
An album by the Hollywood Vampires is on the way and the group plans to hit the road for a tour in the fall as well.
