Former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Abbruzzese is wanted by Denton County Police in Texas, according to PearlJamOnline.com. The warrant for his arrest involves the manufacturing possession of controlled substances. Abbruzzese faces two charges: a Class A misdemeanor charge for possession that could get him up to a year in a county jail and a $4,000 fine and a more serious first degree felony count for manufacturing or delivering controlled substances that could put him behind bars for anywhere from five years to life.
Abbruzzese joined Pearl Jam in May 1991, replacing original drummer Dave Krusen just after the band completed the recording of its debut album Ten. He played drums for all the touring behind Ten and also was featured on the band’s next two albums. Vs. and Vitalogy.
