The HBO rock and roll drama pilot from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter has added eight more actors to the cast, including Mick’s son James Jagger. The 28-year-old actor is playing Kip Stevens, lead singer of punk band Nasty Bits.
The other additions are P.J. Byrne, Joe Caniano, Andrew Dice Clay, Ato Essandoh, Robert Funaro, Birgitte Sorensen and J.C. Mackenzie. They join Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, Juno Temple, Max Casella, Jack Quaid and Ray Romano.
From The Hollywood Reporter: The still-untitled project has been in the works for some time. It follows record executive Richie Finestra (Cannavale) as he navigates the music scene of 1970s New York City, trying to resurrect his label with the next big thing while navigating the world of sex and drugs that go hand-in-hand with the onset of punk and disco.
