Disorderly conduct charges against Paul Simon and wife Edie Brickell have been dropped.
The pair, who married in 1992, were arrested at their Connecticut home in April after an argument. According to a police report about the April 26th incident, Brickell said that Simon had shoved her during an argument and she had slapped him back.
TMZ reports that at the hearing on Tuesday, June 17th, prosecutors decided not to file any charges and the case was dropped.
Brickell said in a statement, “I got my feelings hurt, and I picked a fight with my husband. The police called it disorderly. Thank God it’s orderly now.”
